Hello everyone, my name is seokjin oh, and I made my poster for understanding korean culture. I was thinking about how could I explain my culture, couldcompare with American culture, but everyone already know when we studied "melting pot" and "salad bowl". I wanted to give my culture power so I decided the poster design, wrote information. We have very strong culture for example we have protected korean culture by ourself when we lost country, and nowadays we were affected by other countries, but we must maintain the national self-respect that is korean people think.
I agree that Korea has a really vivid cultural identity. Recent years, Korean dramas are popular around the world. We know the traditional Korean culture and modern Korean culture. Now, I suppose that when you mention Korea, many people primarily will recall "Kimchi".
ReplyDeleteI like the article but as a Chinese I really don't worried about losing the strong culture because the spirit of Chinese Taoism influence me and I think many countries' cultures were influenced by China and their pop cultures were learned from U.s.
